This thesis is concerned with the role of Business Intelligence in organizational decision-making processes. The primary focus of this research paper is to examine how the Business Intelligence tools are being used by the decisionmakers in order to support the decision making process. Conducting the literature review from the scope of organizational decisionmaking, and not from a technical scope, a theoretical framework on formal analysis is generated. An interpretive study was conducted in Devoteam in order to compare the findings with the theoretical framework that was generated.
