Abstract
This thesis deals with the relationship between film producers and streaming services in the online market of audiovisual services. The relationship is dealt with from a societal point of view where the basis is the Danish online audiovisual market. The main research question of the thesis is how can the rules within copyright be optimized in a way where the social benefit rises given the existence of streaming services on the audiovisual market. To resolve this question three analysis are carried out whereas the first one is a legal positive analysis the second one is an economic positive analysis and the third one is a normative integrated analysis. The answer to the main question is that the least invasive solution is to introduce collective management organizations. This will help the digital market flourish in the best possible way while increasing social benefits.
