The thesis is an analysis of the discussion about evaluation in the Danish primary schools. Our interest is not the evaluation itself, but the discussion about the primary school initiated by the concept of evaluation. Based on analysis of arguments and interviews from the Government, the National Association of Muncipalities, the Danish Association of Headmasters, and the Danish Union of Teachers, the main question of the thesis is: What is being discussed?
