Abstract

The social life of a thing matters in concerned markets that is valuing social and economic matters. The study aims to develop understanding of situated valuations by exploring value work, politics that influence experienced differences in between price and value. The empirical material is a story of calculation. The paper is still in progress. The ambition is to take into account that valuations are political qualifications of concerned market qualifications. Empirical insights are drawn from a longitudinal field study in heavy vehicle sales in four different countries.
