As part of the research project Kvalitet & Relevans i Undervisningen, ten study stations have been analyzed and this article focusses on what characterized the establishment and operation of the ten study stations and on the value perception incurred. The article is empirically based and relies on insights from 25 semi-structured, open research interviews. The article is based on theoretical considerations on different types of delivery models on regional supply of education. The analysis uncovers several findings that are of interest to policy makers, educational professionals, educators, students and external actors. In conclusion, the analysis shows that all actors involved have experienced the study stations as very value-adding.
