Abstract

The article offers information on the integration of corporate social responsibility (CSR) into a supply chain strategy. The three essential core principles for successful management of extended global chain and to ensure socially responsible business practices are the creation of reliable product audits, visibility into supply chain events, and collaboration with companies. It notes that avoidance of sourcing market with low social standards is one way of creating social responsibility.
