Abstract

It is graduation season on university campuses around the world. While graduates have received encouragement, empathy, and valuable words of advice from virtual commencement speeches by President Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Oprah Winfrey, Sundar Pichai, David Chang and Bill Gates, this is certainly no normal year for these graduates. These students, the classes of 2020, have completed their degrees having written and submitted their final dissertations and exams under lockdown, completed oral defences online and with an uncertain future waiting for them.
