N2 - This guidebook presents an overview of key issues related to sustainable value chain entrepreneurship. Actors engaging in sustainable value chain entrepreneurship are identified as lead firms (brands and retailers), suppliers, business model innovators, and those supporting and shaping these businesses’ activities and shaping the environments in which they work, including technology and service providers, issue-focused nongovernmental organisations, trade unions and workers, and public-sector organisations. Different forms of initiatives that have been developed globally by all of these actors are identified and dynamics shaping their success are discussed. Throughout the text, real world examples are provided to illustrate concepts.
