Abstract

This document contains a wealth of information about the design and implementation of the Next-TELL open learner model. Information is included about the final specification (Section 3), the interfaces and features (Section 4), its implementation and technical design (Section 5) and also a summary of its strengths and areas of improvement (Section 6). Several key appendices are attached to this report including user manuals for teacher and students (Appendix 3). Fundamentally, all relevant information is included in the report for those wishing to do further development work with the tool and to extend, tailor and refine its functionality.
