Abstract
This paper describes initial observations of a worst case of how collaborative robots were (not) working as an assistive technology on the shop floor of a glass processing factory. We aim to discuss collaborative robot assistance in SMEs and develop design ideas and prototypes of best practices for improving the use of such systems.
