Abstract
In 2016 the most important research project to this date on Nordic contract law has ended, and the result, a Restatement has been published. This is a restatement as they are known from the United States on the rules and principles of law contracts Nordic countries. The Working Commission has been presided by Professor Ole Lando. On the occasion of the release of this work, it is necessary to reflect on the status and future of Nordic contract law.
