Abstract
Gender and women’s empowerment has become a big issue within CSPs in recent years. (See pages 58-61). Yet designing research projects that have proven impact on improving the lives of women in supply chains can be challenging, especially in CSPs where under - standings of ‘gender’ and ‘equality’ can differ culturally. This article therefore explores innovative research methods suitable to get a clearer view on gender issues.
