Abstract

This report is a part of the final reports from the SAVE II project. Altogether there are three reports: The first is a study of the relationship between lifestyle and electricity consumption in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, with emphasis on the possibility of targeting DSM-options to different lifestyles. The second is a Danish study of the relationship between way of life and electricity consumption in the different consumer groups. This report - the third one - is a comparison and discussion of the two approaches and their results. To ensure the relevance of the two (national) studies for other European countries and the study of lifestyles in general, the comparison is kept at a fairly general level.
