Abstract

Global leadership research is integrating with strategic human capital concepts, exploring how leadership deploys human capital resources to achieve strategic objectives. This paper proposes global leadership as a key contextual “emergence-enabling” factor transforming individual knowledge, skills, abilities, and characteristics into unit-level human capital resources for performance parity and strategic resources for competitive advantage in multinational enterprises.
