Abstract

Almost two years into the broad and unilateral chip controls launched by the Biden administration in October 2022 on admittedly broadly-defined national security grounds, there is evidence of significant success in limiting China’s expansion of advanced fabrication (i.e. chipmaking) for the next decade.
