Abstract

Although Dana Zohar’s theory of quantum management has an intuitive appeal and is in line with the call of the new management concept in this era,it is still a combination of some valuable viewpoints rather than a logical, harmonious and self-consistent management theory. And there are some obvious defects in her theory, such as her classification of human brain’s thinking pattern and the human intelligence, which are worth discussing. Although Zohar often said in her speeches that quantum physics is very similar to Chinese philosophy, her writings clearly belittle the value of her so-called Oriental Mysticism, including Chinese philosophy. This paper attempts to establish a Chinese psycho-based quantum management theory, whose core contents include:( 1) adding neither/nor thinking( digestive thinking) as the fourth mode of thinking on the basis of the three modes of thinking proposed by Zohar;( 2) adding transcendent intelligence( referred to as TQ or intelligence quotient) to the three modes of thinking proposed by Zohar as the fourth kind of intelligence;( 3) associating the digestive thinking( neither/nor thinking) with TQ,which is defined as an intelligence that understands the relationship between existence and reality;( 4) proposing a holistic model based on Mencius’ four-terminal model, which points out that all-round developed psychology consists of four dimensions: righteousness, propriety kindness, gain and loss;( 5) correlating the four thinking modes of human brain, four human intelligence, and the four dimensions of psychology,of which the most important one is correlating the neither/nor thinking,TQ,and the psychology of gain and loss;( 6) pointing out that if a leader has the psychology of gain and loss,he can maintain calm facing success and failure, and can lay down himself,so he can empower his subordinates and implement quantum management.
