Who is controlling our data? Towards data sovereignty through federated learning ecosystems

Data sovereignty has become a critical concern in Europe. This project explores how
federated learning can enable commercially viable data ecosystems that protect data
control and foster sovereignty. It uses case studies supported by empirical expert
interviews, and archival data, through research at CBS and St. Gallen. The findings make
significant contribution to the Danish research and society.
