Patient Innovation Bootcamp: Boosting Patient Entrepreneurship

Patients often develop innovative solutions to help them cope with a need imposed by a health condition and couldn´t find any solution in the market.
"Patient Innovation Bootcamp: Booting Patient Entrepreneurship´pops up in 2023 as the 4th edition of the first ever accelerating program for patients, informal caregivers and collaborators to implement and scale-up their innovative solutions. This Bootcamp is built upon the unique experience of Patient Innovation (PI) an award-winning online platform and community with over 250.000 users from over 80 countries, with over 1500 innovations developed by patients and medically approved. PI will thus be a key tool to identify and recruit these special entrepreneurs that want to build a business out of their innovations but don´t find the right supportive environment to do it. The bootcamp will continue to lead to the ultimate goal of establishing in Wurop an ecosystem of healthcare companies (co-)created by patients or caregivers.
