Developing Sustainable Business Models for Emerging Markets and Developing Countries – The case of Novo Nordisk (and Roche) engaging in sustainable business in the pharmaceutical industry in EMDCs.

This research and innovation project between Novo Nordisk, DTU and CBS aims to contribute with research developed insights on transforming current support-based business practices into commercially viable and sustainable business models in the EMDC. The project addresses an overarching managerial challenge in transitioning foreign market entry and operations in the EMDCs hitherto based on partnerships and extensive support to governmental and health institutions into a commercially viable sustainable business and partnership model.
