Project Details
Description
The project will develop a new AI tool to help banks stop financial crime more effectively. Today,
banks spend heavily on compliance, but systems are fragmented and produce too many false
alerts. Until now, collaboration across banks was limited, but new EU rules open a path for secure
joint solutions. In phase 1, we will build a first version that works within a single bank, cutting false
alerts and helping staff handle cases faster with smarter AI support. This lays the foundation for
phase 2, where several banks can work together safely without sharing sensitive data. Starting with
Danish pilot banks and test data, the project will show real cost savings and better detection,
supporting Danish and EU priorities with potential to scale
