Understanding and Supporting Student Well-Being as a Teacher - How to Integrate Wellbeing in Teaching Using Tools to Improve Collaboration Capabilities

Activity: Talk or presentationLecture and oral contribution

Description

The aim with this workshop is to present new research and tools on student wellbeing which can be integrated in teaching or other settings. The workshop is based on results from the research project: “Stressprevention and wellbeing among students at CBS” – a study, that qualitatively examined the student perspective on wellbeing challenges.
The premise of this research is, that considering today’s well-being challenges among the current generation of students who have grown up in a digitized world with constant evaluation and comparison requires a capability approach. This further requires, that promoting wellbeing in Higher Education (HE) is best understood in less individualized terms with study culture and the psychological climate and level of social support from fellow students and teachers becomes central.
The target audience for this workshop is anyone who finds this interesting and not limited to teachers.
