A transformation to the circular economy in Denmark is proclaimed to create more jobs, more growth, less carbon emissions and better utilization of resources than the wasteful linear business-as-usual scenario. The Danish Industry Association have recently published their 2030 strategy plan that aspire for a 70% reduction in carbon emissions, which at large will be reached through implementation of circular economic principles in Danish businesses. In this talk CBS PhD fellow Sönnich DAhl Sönnichsen will introduce you to the circular economic principles, business models for circularity, dilemmas towards societal transformation and case examples with circular economic thinking in competitive businesses.
