Abstract

In today's interconnected and competitive world, the topics of Rivalry and cultural dimensions have gained significant attention across various domains. Understanding the intricate relationship between Rival Behavior, Performance, and cultural dimensions holds immense value for both scholarly research and practical applications in the business realm. This paper delves into these topics, exploring the impact of Rival Behavior on Performance while considering the influential role of cultural dimensions and skill. The study presents a comprehensive review of existing literature, highlighting the psychological roots of Rivalry, its association with performance outcomes, culturally rooted behaviors, and the multifaceted nature of cultural dimensions. Based on this theoretical foundation, the paper introduces a hypothesis model that combines four key hypotheses. The research question "Is the effect of Rival Behavior on Performance influenced by Cultural Dimensions and Skill?" serves as the guiding principle for the investigation. Methodologically, the study employs data extraction from the Codeforces.com platform, data cleaning, structuring, and rigorous analysis utilizing standard linear regression and felm linear regression models. The findings of the study validate three hypotheses, affirming the significant influence of cultural dimensions on the relationship between Rival Behavior and Performance outcomes. The discussion section provides comprehensive interpretations of the results, theoretical implications, and practical insights for businesses. The paper concludes by outlining its limitations and suggesting avenues for future research. The study makes a valuable contribution to the understanding of Rivalry, performance, and cultural differences, offering guidance for researchers, managers, and globally operating enterprises in leveraging the positive effects of Rival Behavior on Performance while effectively managing cultural diversity.
