The study aims to develop understanding of situated valuations by exploring value work, politics that influence experienced differences in between price and value. The empirical material is a story of calculation. The paper is still in progress. The ambition is to take into account that valuations are political qualifications of concerned market qualifications. Empirical insights are drawn from a longitudinal field study in heavy vehicle sales in four different countries.
