The Effect of Talent Management on Individual Performance

Publikation: KonferencebidragPaperForskning

Resumé

The main objective of this article is twofold: first we aim to address the calls for empirical work that links TM to performance outcomes; and second, we identify boundary conditions for TM by studying the moderating role of the immediate context on the TM-performance relationship. Using a matched dataset of managerial employees in a Danish multinational we investigate the treatment effects of participation in talent management programs on subsequent individual performance, conditioning the individual employee’s immediate environment.
