Abstract
The regulations and guidelines for data privacy have become a significant challenge for both the industry and the research community. Collecting, storing, and processing data while complying with these regulations can be a daunting task. Privacy management during the experimental data collection process comes with additional costs that cannot be ignored. This article proposes a conceptual framework and an architect for a generic experiment data collection tool that handles privacy at runtime. The tool eliminates the need for data storage first and subsequent anonymization. Moreover, it aims to simplify the technical aspects of data privacy processes for researchers and provide user-friendly privacy scales for data anonymization.
