Perceptions of Automated Decision-making and Good Administrative Behaviour: Paradoxes, Opportunities and Risks

Publikation: KonferencebidragPaperForskningpeer review

Abstract

In this paper, we analyse how the use of semi and fully automated, administrative decision-making can be conceptualised and understood in relation to norms of good administrative behaviour based on empirical findings from the Danish public administration. We further discuss which opportunities automated administrated decision-making present to support good administrative behaviour, and which risks there are of undermining good administrative behaviour.
