Abstract
Research in the health sciences has established that mindfulness-based programs can help individuals manage stress, emotions, and relationships. It is time these benefits reach the business world and business schools are a great place to start. In this chapter, we describe why mindfulness is relevant for business students and how we have taught it at Copenhagen Business School. Further, we present a case for the application of a mindfulness-based intervention at a Danish company within the airline industry, carried out by one of the elective’s students. We close with implications and future research directions for those interested in the contribution of mindfulness to business education.
