Abstract
Conventionally practical aspects of work motivation alongside management theory have long focused on the conscious elements pertaining decision-making. We show that decision neuroscience introduces new mediator and moderator variables that influence the decision-making process that arises during goal pursuit, leading to a significant revision of the standard goal setting model.
