EU Internet Law in the Era of Convergence and Digital Platforms: The Interplay with EU Telecoms and Media Law

The chapter looks at the EU regulatory response to the phenomenon of convergence. While electronic services have converged, the regulation has not, still dealing with separate e-commerce, media law and telecommunications regulatory layers. The chapter explores both the structure of the three separate regulatory layers and the consequences of the lack of a common regulatory framework.
