Self-Assessment Model for Universities Embracing LLL in Europe

Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

Self-Assessment Model for Universities Embracing LLL in Europe - SAMUELE - seeks to address the critical need for the development
and enhancement of University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) practices in European universities and higher education institutions (HEIs).
Therefore, it is necessary to know the ULLL policies universities follow, programmes and study modes universities offer, and which
target groups they address. The primary objective of this project is to create a comprehensive and transnational Self-Assessment
Model Framework tailored to the specific context of ULLL implementation within European universities. The model will include key
aspects of ULLL including training for wellbeing, identification and mitigation of prejudice and discrimination to disadvantaged
groups, enhancement of European and democratic values, civil engagement and participation, development of skills, etc. An initial
report on collected case studies and a set of Policy Recommendations and Action Plan for policy makers at different levels will also be
developed. The consortium will work in teams to explore the key aspects of optimum ULLL in the different implementation ways
represented in the project and give guidance to users (i.e. policy makers at EU, national and HEI levels) on how to improve current
strategies
