Juan Giraldo, a fellow in the department of digitalization at the Copenhagen Business School, says it is important for executives to keep pace with these new systems and the implications they hold for the various sectors. In a conversation with Knowledge@Wharton, Giraldo recently discussed different aspects of the payment infrastructure, current research in this area and what more needs to be done. Giraldo will speak about instant payments at SWIFT’s annual Sibos Conference in Australia later this month.
