Symposium:This panel symposium aims to initiate and advance dialogues and collaboration on the impact of managerial responses to climate change on human rights as a new interdisciplinary research area in management. The primary purpose of the panel symposium is to discuss how theories and methodologies in international management, business ethics, and sustainability can advance research on climate changes and human rights issues in multinational enterprises (MNEs) and studies in a cross-country setting. The panel symposium also aims to find critical future research questions in climate change and human right issues that provide both challenges and opportunities to MNEs and how scholars can help to achieve better social outcomes and business environments. The symposium will be a platform for management scholars in different disciplines sharing their knowledge to explore new research questions in the topic as well as agonizing together over solutions for the challenges we face.
