With over 30 years of reform and opening up, Chinese excellent enterprises have once been used as MBA Case, are now down almost 80%. In order to short-term profit, companies excessive rely on external conditions and resources to seek temporary benefits in non-faith, non-effective, non-innovative ways to seek wealth, so spurious competitiveness is making a lot of Chinese companies get into trouble. Firstly, this paper introduces the nature and forms of enterprises spurious competitiveness, and then describes its consequences and harm. Secondly, it analyzes the reasons and root for the formation of spurious competitiveness. Finally, it discusses the governance and transformation for spurious competitiveness. The essence of enterprise competitiveness should be under the premise of enterprise in the credit, in the form of income is greater than the cost, the ability to create more value for consumers. Therefore, the three mainly elements of enterprises competitiveness are efficiency, credibility and innovation. Through genetic reengineering to improve the innovation and credibility competitiveness of Chinese enterprises are the two most important challenges in front of us.
